Parrot Anafi Troubleshooting Guide v2

To update the firmware on your Parrot Anafi Drone, connect your drone to the FreeFlight 6 app. If a new update is available, the app will prompt you to download and install it. Ensure your drone is fully charged before starting the update process.
First, ensure that both the drone and the controller are powered on and fully charged. Try restarting both devices. If the issue persists, reset the Wi-Fi settings on the drone and try reconnecting through the FreeFlight 6 app.
To extend the battery life, avoid flying in extreme temperatures and ensure the battery is stored at room temperature. Fully charge the battery before each flight and avoid completely draining it. Regularly update your drone's firmware for optimal performance.
To calibrate the compass, open the FreeFlight 6 app and navigate to the drone settings. Follow the on-screen instructions, which typically involve rotating the drone in different axes. Ensure you are away from metal objects and electronic devices during calibration.
If you experience video streaming issues, check for interference from other Wi-Fi networks. Adjust the Wi-Fi channel in the FreeFlight 6 app settings. Ensure your mobile device meets the minimum system requirements and close any unnecessary background applications.
Make sure the drone has a clear view of the sky and is not obstructed by buildings or dense foliage. Restart the drone and controller, and wait for a few minutes to acquire a GPS signal. Ensure the drone's firmware is up to date.
Use a soft, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the camera lens. Avoid using liquid cleaners or paper towels, as they can scratch the lens. Regularly inspect the lens for dirt or smudges before flights.
Ensure that the drone is calibrated properly before flight. Check for any obstructions or strong winds that could affect stability. If the problem persists, recalibrate the IMU and compass using the FreeFlight 6 app.
To perform a factory reset, power on the drone and hold the power button for 10 seconds until the lights flash. Release the button and wait for the reset process to complete. Note that this will erase all settings and data.
Regularly check for firmware updates, inspect the propellers for damage, and clean the camera lens. Every few months, check the battery health and recalibrate the compass and IMU. Store the drone in a cool, dry place when not in use.
