To restart your Fitbit Charge HR, connect the device to the charging cable. Press and hold the button for approximately 10 seconds until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. Release the button, and your device should restart.
Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone. Restart both your phone and the Fitbit Charge HR. Try manually syncing by opening the Fitbit app and tapping on the device icon. If issues persist, try unpairing and re-pairing the device.
To improve battery life, reduce the use of features like All-Day Sync and Quick View. Lower the screen brightness, limit notifications, and regularly update your Fitbit app and device firmware.
Remove the band from the tracker and use a soft toothbrush with a bit of water to clean the device. For the band, rinse it with water and let it dry completely before reattaching. Avoid using soap, cleaning wipes, or other household cleaners.
Ensure the device is snug on your wrist and positioned correctly. Clean the back of the device and your wrist to remove any obstacles. If problems continue, restart your Fitbit Charge HR.
The Fitbit Charge HR is water-resistant but not waterproof. It's recommended to remove it before showering to prevent any potential water damage.
You can't manually reset the step count. The step count resets automatically at midnight based on the time zone set in your Fitbit app.
If your band breaks, contact Fitbit Support for a replacement. Depending on warranty status, they may provide a new band or offer a discounted replacement.
Ensure that the Fitbit app has notification permissions enabled on your phone. Check that Do Not Disturb mode is off and that your device is within Bluetooth range. Restart both your phone and Fitbit Charge HR if necessary.
Open the Fitbit app on your smartphone, tap on your profile picture, select your device, and check for firmware updates. Follow the on-screen prompts to update your device. Make sure your Fitbit is charged and close to your phone during the update.
