To restart your Fitbit Charge, connect it to the charging cable. Press and hold the button for about 8 seconds until you see a smiley face icon and feel the device vibrate. Release the button and the tracker will restart.
Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and your Fitbit Charge is nearby. Restart both your phone and the Fitbit device. If the issue persists, try reinstalling the Fitbit app or check for any available updates.
To extend battery life, reduce the use of features like GPS and heart rate monitoring, lower the screen brightness, and disable notifications that are not necessary. Regularly updating your device can also help improve battery performance.
Wear your Fitbit Charge while you sleep. The device automatically tracks your sleep patterns and provides data such as sleep stages and duration in the Fitbit app. Ensure your device is synced to see the latest sleep data.
Make sure your device is securely fastened to your wrist. If you are pushing a stroller or shopping cart, manually log your activity. Ensure your dominant or non-dominant wrist setting is correct in the Fitbit app.
Open the Fitbit app on your phone. Tap on your profile picture, select your device, and check for a firmware update. If available, follow the on-screen instructions to update your device. Ensure your tracker is charged and near your phone during the update.
The Fitbit Charge is water-resistant and can be worn in the shower and while swimming. However, it is recommended to rinse and dry the device after exposure to chlorine or salt water to maintain its durability.
Open the Fitbit app and tap on your profile picture, then select your device. Tap on Notifications and choose which notifications you want to receive on your Fitbit Charge. Ensure your phone's Bluetooth is on and the device is nearby.
Ensure your device is charged. Try restarting your Fitbit Charge by following the restart instructions. If the problem persists, perform a long restart by holding the button for about 15 seconds.
Remove the band from the tracker and rinse both parts in water or use a mild soap. Avoid using harsh cleaning products. Let both the band and tracker dry completely before reassembling and wearing.
