To set up your Fitbit Flex, download the Fitbit app on your smartphone or computer. Open the app, create an account, and follow the on-screen instructions to pair your device via Bluetooth. Ensure your Flex is charged and within range of your device.
If your Fitbit Flex won't sync, try restarting your tracker, ensuring that Bluetooth is enabled on your device, and that you're within syncing range. If issues persist, restart your phone or tablet, and check for updates to the Fitbit app.
To clean your Fitbit Flex, remove the tracker from the band and wipe both with a damp cloth. Avoid using soap or any cleaning agents. Dry thoroughly before reassembling. Regular cleaning helps prevent skin irritation.
If your Fitbit Flex isn't charging, ensure the charging cable is plugged in securely. Clean the charger contacts with a soft cloth and try a different USB port or charger. Restart your Flex if it still won't charge.
To replace the band on your Fitbit Flex, gently push the tracker out of the band from the back. Insert the tracker into the new band until it clicks into place, ensuring it's secure.
If your Flex isn't tracking steps accurately, ensure it's worn correctly, snugly on your wrist. Reboot the device and check for any firmware updates. If necessary, adjust the stride length in the Fitbit app settings.
To reset your Fitbit Flex, place the tracker in the charging cable, and while plugged in, press the button on the charging cable three times within five seconds. Your Flex will restart. Note that this does not erase your data.
The Fitbit Flex is water-resistant and can be worn in the shower and while swimming (up to 10 meters). However, it's advisable to rinse and dry it thoroughly afterward to maintain the device's integrity.
To update the firmware on your Fitbit Flex, ensure your device is charged and connected to your smartphone or computer. Open the Fitbit app, and you should be prompted if an update is available. Follow the instructions to complete the update.
If your Fitbit Flex isn't vibrating for notifications, check that notifications are enabled in the Fitbit app and that your phone's Bluetooth is on. Restart your Flex and phone if necessary, and ensure your Flex is within range for notifications.
