To restart your Fitbit Alta, connect it to the charging cable. Press the button on the charging cable three times within a few seconds, pausing briefly between presses. When you see the Fitbit logo, your tracker has restarted.
Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone. Restart your phone and Fitbit Alta. Try syncing your tracker again through the Fitbit app. If the issue persists, remove the Alta from the app and try pairing it again.
Open the Fitbit app, tap on your profile picture, select Alta, and then tap on Clock Faces. Choose your preferred clock face from the available options.
Ensure the charging cable is securely connected to the USB port and the Alta. Clean the charging contacts on both the tracker and the cable. Try using a different USB port or wall charger.
Fitbit Alta is splash-proof but not water-resistant, so it is not recommended to wear it in the shower or while swimming.
Wear your Fitbit Alta to bed, and it will automatically track your sleep patterns. In the Fitbit app, you can view detailed sleep stages and insights.
Try restarting your Fitbit Alta by following the restart procedure. If the screen remains unresponsive, ensure the device is charged. If the issue persists, contact Fitbit support for further assistance.
Ensure your Alta is charged and your phone is connected to Wi-Fi. Open the Fitbit app, tap on the account icon, select Alta, and check for a firmware update under the Device Settings. Follow the on-screen instructions to update.
To improve battery life, reduce the frequency of syncing, turn off Quick View, and limit notifications. Ensure your Fitbit Alta firmware is updated to the latest version.
Unfortunately, Fitbit Alta does not have a factory reset option. However, you can remove it from your Fitbit account and then set it up as a new device.
