To set up your Fitbit Aria 2, download the Fitbit app on your smartphone, create or log into your Fitbit account, and follow the in-app instructions to connect your scale to Wi-Fi.
Ensure your scale is within range of your Wi-Fi router, check that your Wi-Fi network is 802.11b-compatible, and confirm your network password is correct. Restart your router if needed.
To reset your Fitbit Aria 2, remove a battery for 10 seconds, then reinsert it and wait for the display to show "SETUP ACTIVE". Proceed with the setup process again.
In the Fitbit app, go to Account > Aria 2 > People Using This Scale. Here you can add or remove users and assign them to the scale.
Ensure the scale is on a hard, flat surface. Check that the feet are clean, and try weighing again. If the issue persists, recalibrate by removing and then replacing a battery.
Fitbit Aria 2 provides an estimate of body fat percentage using bioelectrical impedance analysis. For best results, weigh yourself at the same time each day under similar conditions.
Clean the scale with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using chemicals or abrasive cleaners to prevent damage to the surface.
Ensure your profile information, such as weight range, is up to date in the Fitbit app. Step on the scale with bare, dry feet, and ensure you stand still until the scale completes weighing.
Open the Fitbit app, tap on the 'Weight' tile, find the weigh-in you want to delete, and swipe left on the entry. Tap the 'Delete' option to remove it.
Refer to the user manual for specific error codes. Common solutions include checking Wi-Fi connectivity, ensuring the batteries are properly installed, and resetting the scale if needed.
