To restart your Fitbit Alta HR, connect the tracker to the charging cable, then press the button on the charging cable three times within a few seconds. The tracker should restart, indicated by the Fitbit logo on the display.
Fitbit Alta HR automatically tracks your sleep patterns. Ensure you wear your tracker while sleeping, and in the morning, check your sleep data on the Fitbit app to review your sleep stages and duration.
Open the Fitbit app, tap on the device icon in the top left corner, select your Alta HR, and then tap on Clock Faces. Choose your preferred clock face from the available options.
If your Fitbit Alta HR is not syncing, ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device, and the Fitbit app is open or running in the background. Try restarting your phone and the tracker, and ensure both are within proximity.
To update the firmware, ensure your Alta HR is charged, open the Fitbit app, and follow the prompts if an update is available. The update process may take several minutes.
The step count on Fitbit Alta HR resets automatically at midnight. You can view daily step counts by checking the history in the Fitbit app.
Clean your Fitbit Alta HR by wiping the band with a damp cloth. Use a mild soap-free cleanser if necessary. Do not submerge in water or use soap-based cleaners to avoid damage.
If your Fitbit Alta HR is not charging, ensure the charging cable is securely connected to the USB port and the tracker. Clean the charging contacts and try a different USB port or charger.
To set up notifications, open the Fitbit app, tap on the device icon, select Alta HR, and tap Notifications. Choose the types of notifications you wish to receive and follow the prompts to complete setup.
Ensure the tracker is snug on your wrist and positioned correctly. If heart rate data is still not displaying, restart the tracker and ensure the Heart Rate setting is enabled in the Fitbit app.
