To arm the Honeywell VISTA-15P, enter your security code followed by the 'Away' or 'Stay' button. 'Away' arms all sensors including motion detectors, while 'Stay' arms perimeter sensors only.
A 'Check' error indicates a fault with a zone. Refer to the zone list to identify the problem area. Check for open doors/windows or malfunctioning sensors.
Enter the current master code followed by '8', '02', and the new 4-digit code. Repeat the new code to confirm.
To reset after a false alarm, disarm the system by entering your code and pressing 'Off'. This should silence the alarm and reset the panel.
To bypass a zone, enter your security code followed by '6', then enter the 2-digit zone number.
Regularly test the system, replace batteries in sensors and control panel as needed, and inspect sensors for dust or obstruction.
Enter the master code, press '8', select a user number (03 to 32), and then enter the new 4-digit code.
'AC LOSS' indicates that the system is not receiving power from the outlet and is running on backup battery. Check the power supply and connections.
To perform a system test, enter your security code followed by '5'. This will activate all sounders and display test results on the keypad.
Check the keypad for error messages, ensure it is powered, and verify that all connections are secure. If issues persist, consult the user manual or contact technical support.
