To install the Xerox WorkCentre M20 printer driver on Windows, download the correct driver from the Xerox website. Run the downloaded file, follow the on-screen instructions, and connect the printer to your computer via USB when prompted.
First, check if the printer is powered on and connected to the network or computer. Ensure there is paper in the tray and toner in the cartridge. Verify that the printer driver is installed correctly and try restarting the printer.
To clear a paper jam, open the front cover and gently remove the jammed paper. Check the paper tray and output area for additional jams. Ensure there are no torn pieces of paper left inside.
To perform a factory reset, access the printer's menu and navigate to the 'Admin Settings'. Select 'Restore Factory Defaults' and confirm your choice. The printer will restart with default settings.
Open the front cover of the printer and remove the used toner cartridge. Unpack the new cartridge, shake it gently, and insert it into the printer. Close the front cover securely.
The Xerox WorkCentre M20 does not support wireless connectivity directly. You can connect it to a network using an Ethernet cable or via a print server that supports wireless connections.
Place the document on the scanner glass or in the document feeder. Press the 'Scan' button on the control panel, select the desired settings, and initiate the scan. The document will be saved to the connected computer.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the scanner glass, checking and refilling paper and toner, and ensuring no paper jams. It is also advisable to update the printer firmware periodically.
Check the toner level and replace if necessary. Clean the print drum and rollers. Ensure that the paper used meets the printer's specifications. Run a cleaning cycle from the printer's menu.
Refer to the user manual to identify the error code. Follow the recommended troubleshooting steps, such as checking connections or restarting the printer. Contact Xerox support if the issue persists.
