Ensure the mower is on a flat surface, the parking brake is engaged, and the blades are disengaged. Turn the key to the start position and release once the engine starts.
Check the fuel level, ensure the battery is charged, and check the spark plug for damage or wear. If issues persist, consult the user manual or contact a professional technician.
Change the oil every 50 hours of operation or at least once per season. Always use the recommended oil type as per the user manual.
Use unleaded gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 87. Avoid fuel with more than 10% ethanol content.
Ensure the blades are sharp and clean. Adjust the cutting height according to the grass length and mow when the grass is dry.
Remove the air filter cover, take out the filter, and clean it using soapy water. Rinse thoroughly, let it dry, and re-install. Replace if excessively dirty or damaged.
Regularly check the battery terminals for corrosion and clean with a mixture of baking soda and water. Ensure the battery is charged, especially before storage.
Excessive vibration may be due to unbalanced or damaged blades. Inspect the blades and replace if necessary. Check for loose parts and ensure all bolts are tightened.
Check the drive belt for wear or damage, and replace if needed. Ensure the PTO switch is functional and the electrical connections are secure.
Clean the mower thoroughly, drain the fuel, and remove the battery. Store in a dry, covered location. Consider using a fuel stabilizer if not draining the fuel.
