To start the Stihl RMA 510 V, ensure the battery is fully charged and properly inserted. Press and hold the safety button on the handle, then pull the activation lever towards the handle and release the safety button.
Check if the battery is charged and correctly inserted. Ensure the safety key is in place. Inspect the mower for any obstructions and verify the activation lever is functioning properly.
To adjust the cutting height, use the height adjustment lever located near the wheel. Move the lever to the desired position, ensuring all wheels are set to the same height for an even cut.
Regularly check and clean the mower deck, inspect blade sharpness, and ensure the battery is in good condition. A thorough check should be conducted at the start and end of each mowing season.
Ensure the mower is turned off and the battery is removed. Use a brush or cloth to remove grass clippings and debris. Avoid using water directly to prevent damage to electrical components.
While the RMA 510 V can operate in damp conditions, it is not recommended to mow wet grass as it may affect cutting performance and lead to clogging. Wait for the grass to dry for optimal results.
Clean the mower thoroughly, ensuring it is free from grass and debris. Remove the battery and store it in a cool, dry place. Keep the mower in a dry, sheltered location to prevent rust and damage.
The Stihl RMA 510 V uses a 36V lithium-ion battery from the Stihl AP series. Ensure compatibility when purchasing replacement batteries.
Disconnect the battery for safety. Tilt the mower to access the blade. Use a wrench to remove the blade bolt. Replace with a new blade, ensuring it is securely fastened.
Check the charger connections and ensure the power source is functioning. Inspect the battery for any damage. If issues persist, consult a Stihl service center for further diagnostics.
