For off-road usage, it is recommended to set the tire pressures to around 18 psi for both the front and rear tires to ensure optimal traction and comfort.
The oil should be changed every 6,200 miles (10,000 km) or once a year, whichever comes first, to maintain optimal engine performance and longevity.
To adjust the chain tension, place the bike on a stand, loosen the rear axle nut, adjust the chain tensioners evenly on both sides, ensuring the slack is within 40-50 mm, then retighten the axle nut.
Check the battery charge, inspect the spark plug for wear or fouling, ensure fuel is reaching the engine, and verify that the kill switch is in the correct position.
Valve clearance should be checked every 12,000 miles (20,000 km) to ensure proper engine performance and efficiency.
Remove the air filter cover, take out the filter, clean it with a mild detergent and water, let it dry completely, apply air filter oil, and reinstall it properly.
Use a high-quality ethylene glycol-based coolant with corrosion inhibitors, ideally a 50/50 mix of coolant and distilled water for optimal cooling performance.
Maintain proper tire pressure, perform regular maintenance, avoid aggressive acceleration, and reduce unnecessary weight to improve fuel efficiency.
Check for any ABS sensor faults or damaged wiring, ensure the ABS ring is clean, and consult a professional if the issue persists to avoid potential safety risks.
Clean the motorcycle thoroughly, change the oil, fill the fuel tank with a stabilizer, disconnect the battery, and store it in a dry, cool place with a cover to protect it from dust.
