During the first 1000 km (620 miles), avoid full-throttle starts and do not exceed 75% of the top speed. Vary the engine speed and load frequently to properly seat the engine components.
The recommended tire pressure is 2.0 bar (29 psi) for the front tire and 2.2 bar (32 psi) for the rear tire under normal riding conditions. Adjust as necessary for your specific riding needs.
It is recommended to change the oil and oil filter every 10,000 km (6,200 miles) or once a year, whichever comes first. More frequent changes may be necessary for extreme riding conditions.
Use a high-quality synthetic motorcycle oil with a viscosity rating of 10W-50 that meets or exceeds the specifications API SL or JASO MA2.
To adjust the suspension, refer to the owner's manual for specific settings based on your weight and riding style. Common adjustments include preload, compression, and rebound damping.
Check the battery charge, ensure the kill switch is in the 'run' position, and inspect the fuel level. If the issue persists, verify the condition of the spark plug and fuel pump.
To improve fuel efficiency, maintain a steady speed, avoid rapid acceleration and braking, keep the tires properly inflated, and ensure regular maintenance such as air filter cleaning and spark plug inspection.
Inspect the chain for excessive slack, rust, or worn-out links. If the chain has tight spots or the sprockets appear worn, it's time to replace the chain and sprockets as a set.
Remove the air filter and clean it with a suitable air filter cleaner. Allow it to dry completely, then apply air filter oil before reinstalling. Inspect the air filter regularly, especially after riding in dusty conditions.
Clean the motorcycle thoroughly, change the oil, fill the fuel tank and add a fuel stabilizer, disconnect the battery, and store it in a dry, sheltered location. Cover the motorcycle to protect it from dust and moisture.
