To connect your Dell Latitude 3448 to a Wi-Fi network, click on the network icon in the system tray, select the desired network from the list, and enter the password if required.
First, ensure the power adapter is securely connected to both the laptop and a power outlet. Check for any damage to the charging cable. If the issue persists, try using a different power outlet or adapter, and consider updating the BIOS.
To extend battery life, reduce screen brightness, close unnecessary applications, disable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi when not in use, and use the power-saving mode available in Windows.
Check for malware with a reputable antivirus program, remove unnecessary startup programs, ensure sufficient free disk space, update drivers, and consider upgrading RAM if needed.
To perform a factory reset, go to Settings > Update & Security > Recovery, and select 'Get started' under 'Reset this PC'. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.
Ensure the laptop is placed on a hard, flat surface to allow proper ventilation. Clean the air vents with compressed air to remove dust. Consider using a cooling pad and checking for any software updates that might address thermal management.
Turn off the laptop and disconnect all cables. Remove the battery and the back cover. Locate the RAM slots, remove the existing module(s) if necessary, and insert the new RAM module(s) ensuring they are properly seated. Reattach the back cover and battery before powering on the laptop.
Update the graphics driver, check for loose or damaged cables, adjust the refresh rate in the display settings, and consider resetting the display settings to default.
Shut down the laptop and disconnect it from power. Use compressed air to blow out debris from between the keys, and gently wipe the keys with a microfiber cloth slightly dampened with water or isopropyl alcohol.
Connect the external monitor to your laptop using a compatible cable (HDMI or VGA). Press 'Windows + P' and select the desired display mode. Ensure the correct input is selected on the external monitor.
