To reset the dishwasher, press and hold the Start/Reset button for about 3 seconds until the control panel lights up. This will cancel the current cycle and reset the machine.
Check the drain hose for any kinks or clogs. Ensure that the sink's drain is not blocked. Clean the dishwasher's filter and check if the pump cover is secured properly.
Remove the bottom rack to access the filter. Turn the filter counterclockwise and lift it out. Rinse under warm water and use a soft brush to remove debris. Reinstall by placing it back and turning clockwise.
Spots can be caused by hard water. Ensure the rinse aid dispenser is filled to reduce spotting. Additionally, check the water temperature, ideally between 120-150°F (49-65°C) for optimal cleaning.
A flashing light often indicates an error. Refer to the user manual for specific error codes. Common issues include door latch problems, water supply issues, or drainage problems.
Place large items like pots and pans on the bottom rack, ensuring they do not block the spray arms. Load plates, bowls, and smaller items on the top rack. Ensure all items are angled downward for better water drainage.
For heavily soiled dishes, use the Intensive or Heavy cycle. This cycle uses higher temperatures and longer wash times to effectively clean stubborn stains and residues.
Unusual noises can be caused by items inside the dishwasher touching each other or the spray arms. Ensure that all items are securely placed and not obstructing moving parts. Also, check for any loose components.
Clean the spray arms every 3-4 months to ensure optimal performance. Remove them and rinse under warm water, using a toothpick to clear any clogged holes.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the filter, checking the spray arms, and descaling the machine every 6 months. Regularly inspect the door seal for any signs of wear or residue.
