To reset the Sauter SFH945WE1 dishwasher, press and hold the Start/Reset button for about 3 seconds until the display shows a reset indication. This will clear any current cycle and allow you to start a new one.
Check if the drain hose is kinked or blocked. Also, ensure that the sink drain is clear. If the problem persists, inspect the dishwasher filter and pump area for any obstructions.
Open the dishwasher and remove the bottom rack. Twist the cylindrical filter counterclockwise and lift it out. Rinse it under running water and use a soft brush to remove any debris. Reinstall the filter by placing it back in its position and turning it clockwise until it locks.
Ensure that the rinse aid dispenser is filled, as it helps with drying. Also, check the selected cycle settings and use a higher temperature or extended drying option if available.
Inspect the door latch for any obstructions or damage. Ensure that the dishwasher is level. Adjust the leveling legs if needed. If the latch is damaged, it may need replacement.
Ensure that dishes are loaded according to the manufacturer’s instructions, without blocking the spray arms. Clean the spray arms regularly and use the recommended amount of detergent.
Check for any loose items in the dishwasher that might be rattling. Inspect the spray arms for obstructions. If the noise persists, it could indicate a problem with the pump or motor.
Descaling frequency depends on water hardness levels. For hard water, descale every 1-2 months using a dishwasher-safe descaling agent to prevent limescale buildup.
Place cutlery in the cutlery basket with handles facing down for better cleaning. Ensure that items do not nest together, and separate different types of metals to avoid staining.
Regularly clean the filter and check for any food debris. Run an empty cycle with a cup of white vinegar or a commercial dishwasher cleaner once a month to remove odors and maintain freshness.
