To start a wash cycle, load your dishes, add detergent, close the door, select the desired wash program using the control panel, and press the start button.
Ensure that the drain hose is not kinked or clogged. Check the dishwasher filter for debris and clean it if necessary. Also, make sure the sink drain is clear.
Remove the bottom rack, twist and pull out the cylindrical filter, and rinse it under warm water to remove debris. Reinsert it by aligning and twisting it back into place.
Ensure that you are using a rinse aid, which helps with drying. Check if the selected wash cycle includes a drying phase and ensure the door is opened slightly after the cycle to allow steam to escape.
It's recommended to clean the spray arms every couple of months. Remove them, rinse under water, and use a toothpick to clear any blocked holes.
Check for any foreign objects in the dishwasher, ensure that dishes are not obstructing the spray arms, and make sure that the dishwasher is level.
Check that the spray arms are not blocked, ensure the filter is clean, and verify that you are using the correct amount of detergent. Arrange dishes properly to avoid blocking water flow.
Press and hold the start/reset button for approximately 3 seconds until the indicator lights flash to reset the dishwasher.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the filter, checking and cleaning the spray arms, using a dishwasher cleaner monthly, and inspecting the door seal for debris.
Use a rinse aid regularly, select a program with a drying phase, and ensure to load dishes so that water can run off efficiently.
