To load paper, open the paper tray, adjust the guides to fit the paper size, and load the stack with the print side facing down. Ensure the stack is not above the maximum fill line.
First, open the paper path covers and remove any visible jammed paper. Follow the on-screen instructions to check all areas where a jam might occur. After clearing the jam, close all covers securely.
Access the calibration tool from the printer’s control panel or web interface. Follow the prompts to print a calibration sheet, then scan the sheet to adjust the color settings.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the paper path, replacing the waste toner container, checking the drum units, and ensuring software and firmware are up to date.
Open the toner access door, remove the old cartridge by pulling it straight out, and insert the new cartridge until it clicks into place. Close the toner access door securely.
Check the toner levels, ensure the correct paper type is selected, clean the imaging units, and perform a color calibration. If the issue persists, consult the user manual for further troubleshooting steps.
Verify the network cable is securely connected, restart the printer and network router, and check that the printer’s IP settings match your network configuration.
Go to the printer’s menu, select ‘Software Update’, and follow the on-screen instructions. Ensure the printer is connected to the internet to download the latest updates.
Access the printer settings from the control panel or print driver. Select the media type you are using, and adjust the print settings such as weight and size to match the media.
