To print borderless photos, select the appropriate paper size and check the "Borderless" option in the printer settings. Ensure your paper is loaded correctly and the correct media type is chosen.
Check if the printer is turned on and properly connected to your computer. Ensure there are no paper jams and that the ink cartridges are installed correctly. Also, verify that the correct printer driver is installed.
To clean the print head, use the printer software utility on your computer. Open the printer properties, navigate to the maintenance tab, and select "Head Cleaning." Follow the on-screen instructions.
For best photo quality, use Epson's Premium Glossy Photo Paper or any paper recommended by Epson that is compatible with dye-based inks.
Perform a nozzle check by accessing the printer driver on your computer, selecting the "Maintenance" tab, and clicking on "Nozzle Check." Follow the prompts to print a nozzle check pattern.
If prints have streaks or lines, perform a nozzle check and clean the print head if necessary. Ensure the paper is loaded correctly and the print settings match your paper type.
To replace the ink cartridges, turn on the printer, open the cover, and wait for the cartridge holder to stop moving. Press the tab on the cartridge to release it, then remove and replace it with a new cartridge.
The Epson Stylus Photo 1280 does not support direct CD/DVD printing. Consider using a compatible Epson model designed for this purpose.
Align the print head by accessing the printer driver, selecting the "Maintenance" tab, and clicking on "Print Head Alignment." Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.
If a paper jam occurs, turn off the printer and carefully remove any jammed paper from the paper feed. Ensure there are no small pieces left inside and reload the paper correctly.
