Epson EX30 Quick Setup Guide

To connect your Epson EX30 projector to a computer, use a VGA cable to connect the computer's VGA output to the projector's Computer port. Then, select the 'Computer' source on the projector using the remote control or the projector's control panel.
Ensure that the power cord is securely connected to both the projector and a working electrical outlet. Check the power light; if it's flashing orange, the projector is in standby mode. Press the power button on the projector or remote control to turn it on.
Turn off the projector and unplug it. Remove the air filter cover located on the side. Take out the air filter and clean it using a small vacuum cleaner designed for electronics. If the filter is heavily soiled, replace it with a new one.
First, turn off the projector and allow it to cool for at least an hour. Remove the lamp cover by loosening the screw. Take out the old lamp by loosening its screws and pulling it out. Insert the new lamp and secure it with screws before replacing the lamp cover.
To adjust the image size, move the projector closer to or further from the screen. You can also use the zoom ring located around the lens to fine-tune the image size without moving the projector.
Adjust the focus by rotating the focus ring on the projector lens. Ensure that the projector is at the correct distance from the screen and that the lens is clean. Check the resolution settings on the connected device to ensure they match the projector's resolution.
After replacing the lamp, turn on the projector. Navigate to the 'Reset' menu, then select 'Reset Lamp Hours'. Confirm the reset when prompted. This will clear the lamp usage hours.
Ensure the air vents are not blocked and the air filter is clean. Verify the projector is in a well-ventilated area and not near a heat source. If overheating persists, the internal fan may need to be serviced.
The Epson EX30 does not have built-in wireless capabilities. However, you can use a compatible wireless module or a third-party wireless HDMI kit to connect it to a wireless network.
Connect external speakers to the audio output port on the projector for improved sound quality. Ensure that the audio settings on the projector and connected device are correctly configured for external audio output.
