Citizen CL-S700DT User's Manual

To load media into the CL-S700DT, open the printer cover, lift the printhead mechanism, and place the roll of media on the media holder. Ensure the media is aligned properly and adjust the media guides. Close the printhead mechanism and the printer cover.
Check that the media is loaded correctly and the guides are adjusted properly. Ensure there is no obstruction in the paper path. Clean the platen roller if needed and verify the printer settings for media type and size.
Turn off the printer and open the cover. Use a lint-free cloth moistened with isopropyl alcohol to gently clean the printhead. Allow it to dry completely before closing the cover and turning the printer back on.
Ensure the ribbon is properly installed and not wrinkled. Check the ribbon sensor and clean it if necessary. Verify the ribbon settings in the printer's configuration match the installed ribbon type.
To calibrate the printer, turn it off and then back on while holding the FEED button. Release the button when the printer starts feeding. It will automatically calibrate the media sensors.
Check the media and ribbon for compatibility and ensure they are loaded correctly. Clean the printhead and platen roller. Adjust the print density settings via the printer driver or control panel.
Connect the printer to your network using an Ethernet cable. On the printer, navigate to the network settings menu to configure the IP address. Install the printer driver on your computer and select the network printer during installation.
Regularly clean the printhead and platen roller after every roll of media. Check for firmware updates quarterly and inspect the printer periodically for wear and tear. Replace any worn parts as needed.
Turn off the printer, press and hold the PAUSE and FEED buttons, then turn the printer back on. Release the buttons when the printer indicates it is resetting.
Ensure the USB or network cable is securely connected. Check for driver updates and reinstall the printer driver if necessary. Verify that the printer is powered on and ready.
