To load media, open the printer's top cover, release the media holder, insert the roll of media, and adjust the holder to fit the media width. Thread the media through the print head and close the top cover.
Check if the media is loaded properly and ensure the media sensor is calibrated. Also, verify there are no obstructions in the media path and the media guides are set correctly.
To calibrate the sensor, turn off the printer, press and hold the pause button while turning it back on, release when the LED flashes, and follow the on-screen instructions.
Regularly clean the print head with isopropyl alcohol, ensure the platen roller is free of debris, and check for firmware updates to keep the printer running efficiently.
Ensure the print head is clean, the correct media and ribbon settings are selected, and the print head pressure is evenly distributed. Adjust the print speed and darkness settings if necessary.
Check the power cable connections, ensure the power switch is turned on, and verify the power outlet is functioning. If issues persist, contact technical support.
