Ensure the label roll is correctly loaded and the guides are properly positioned. Check for any obstructions in the feed path and clean the platen roller if necessary. Adjust the tension of the media using the media adjustment knob.
To calibrate the sensor, open the printer cover and load the media. Press and hold the PAUSE button until the LED turns orange, then release. The printer will feed and measure several labels to calibrate the sensor automatically.
Turn off the printer and open the cover. Use a lint-free cloth dampened with isopropyl alcohol to gently wipe the printhead surface. Ensure the printhead is dry before closing the printer cover and turning the printer back on.
Open the printer cover and remove the used ribbon. Place the new ribbon on the ribbon supply spindle and thread it through the printhead assembly, securing it on the take-up spindle. Ensure the ribbon is taut and close the cover.
Check that the printhead is clean and there are no obstructions. Ensure the correct media and ribbon type are being used. Adjust the printhead pressure and darkness settings in the printer driver or control panel.
Turn off the printer and open the cover. Carefully remove any jammed media from the feed path. Check the platen roller and media guides for debris. Reload the media properly and close the cover before turning the printer back on.
