Canon TR7000 Series Getting Started Guide

To connect your Canon TR7000 series printer to Wi-Fi, press the 'Setup' button on the printer, navigate to 'Wireless LAN setup', and select 'Easy Wireless Connect'. Follow the on-screen instructions and use the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY app on your mobile device or computer to complete the setup.
If your Canon TR7000 printer is not printing, check that it is powered on and connected to the same network as your computer. Ensure there is enough paper in the tray and the ink cartridges are properly installed. Run the printer’s ‘Print Head Cleaning’ utility from the maintenance menu.
To perform a print head alignment, access the printer’s menu, select 'Setup', then 'Maintenance', and choose 'Align Print Head'. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the alignment process.
Open the front cover of the printer and wait for the print head holder to move to the replacement position. Remove the empty cartridge by pushing the tab and lifting it out. Insert the new cartridge until it clicks into place and close the front cover.
To scan documents, place the document on the scanner glass or in the document feeder. Press the 'Scan' button on the printer, select the destination (e.g., computer or USB), and press 'Start'. Use the Canon IJ Scan Utility on your computer for additional options.
Turn off the printer and open the front cover. Gently remove any jammed paper from the paper path. Open the rear cover and check for any remaining pieces of paper. After ensuring all paper is removed, close the covers and turn the printer back on.
Access the printer driver setup window on your computer. Under the 'Main' tab, choose 'Print Quality' and select 'Standard' or 'High'. For advanced settings, click on 'Custom' and adjust the sliders to your desired quality level.
Regular maintenance tasks include cleaning the print head, aligning the print head, and checking for firmware updates. Ensure the printer is kept clean and free from dust, and periodically check and clean the paper feed rollers.
To update the firmware, ensure the printer is connected to the internet. Go to the printer’s menu, select 'Setup', then 'Device settings', and choose 'Firmware update'. Follow the on-screen instructions to download and install any available updates.
Check the ink levels and ensure the cartridges are installed correctly. Run the 'Nozzle Check' utility from the printer’s maintenance menu to verify if the print head nozzles are clogged. If needed, perform a 'Print Head Cleaning'.
