The Canon Pixma MP950 does not have built-in wireless connectivity. You will need to connect it via USB to a computer that has network sharing capabilities or use a print server.
To clean the print head, access the printer's maintenance menu through the control panel. Select 'Cleaning' or 'Deep Cleaning' and follow the on-screen instructions.
Ensure the ink cartridges are not empty and are installed correctly. Perform a print head cleaning through the maintenance menu and check for any clogs or blockages.
Open the front cover to access the ink cartridge holder. Press down on the cartridge to release it, then remove it. Insert the new cartridge until it clicks into place.
Check the print settings to ensure the correct paper type and quality settings are selected. Perform a nozzle check and clean the print head if necessary.
To reset the printer to factory settings, turn off the printer. Hold the 'Resume' button, press and hold the 'Power' button, then release 'Resume' and press it twice. Release all buttons and wait for the printer to reset.
Place the document on the scanner glass. Use the printer's control panel to select 'Scan', choose the scan type, and follow the prompts to complete the scan.
Turn off the printer and gently remove any visible paper from the input and output trays. Open the rear cover to check for any paper stuck inside and remove it carefully.
Reduce the print quality settings for faster output. Ensure the printer is in Draft mode and verify that your USB connection is secure and functioning properly.
Regularly clean the print head, check for firmware updates, and ensure the paper feed rollers are free of dust. Also, periodically check the ink levels and replace cartridges as needed.
