To perform a manual reset on the Xerox WorkCentre M123, power off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for 30 seconds, and then plug it back in and power it on.
To clear a paper jam, open the front cover, carefully remove any jammed paper without tearing it, and then close the cover. Make sure no pieces of paper are left inside.
The Xerox WorkCentre M123 does not support native wireless connectivity. Consider using an external wireless print server to connect it to a network.
Check the printer's connection to the computer, ensure it has paper and toner, verify no error messages are displayed, and confirm that the correct printer is selected on your computer.
Open the front cover, remove the used toner cartridge by pulling it out, unpack the new cartridge, insert it into the printer, and close the cover.
Regular maintenance tasks include cleaning the printer's exterior, checking and replenishing paper and toner levels, and periodically cleaning the scanner glass and paper feed rollers.
To improve print quality, ensure you use the correct paper type, check that the toner is not low, clean the print heads, and adjust the print settings in the driver software.
Download the latest firmware from the Xerox website, transfer it to the printer via USB or network connection, and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update.
Refer to the user manual or Xerox support website to identify the error code. Follow the recommended steps to resolve the issue, which may include rebooting the printer or checking for paper jams.
Place the document on the scanner glass or in the document feeder, select 'Scan' from the printer's control panel, choose your desired settings, and press 'Start' to begin scanning.
