To load paper into the Xerox WorkCentre 4260, open the paper tray, adjust the guides to fit the paper size, load the paper with the print side face down, and close the tray securely.
First, ensure you are using the correct paper type and size. Check for any obstructions in the paper path, clean any dust or debris, and ensure the paper guides are properly aligned.
To clear a paper jam, gently remove the jammed paper from the indicated area, being careful not to tear it. Follow the on-screen instructions for specific locations and ensure all bits are removed.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the exterior and interior, replacing toner cartridges when prompted, and checking for firmware updates to ensure optimal performance.
Open the front cover, remove the used toner cartridge by pulling it out, unpack the new cartridge, align it with the guides, and slide it into place until it clicks. Close the front cover.
Verify network cables are securely connected, restart the printer and router, check the network settings on the printer, and ensure the printer is within range of the wireless network if applicable.
Access the printer's menu, navigate to 'System Settings', select 'Reset', and choose 'Factory Reset'. Confirm the selection, and the printer will restart with default settings.
Check the toner levels and replace if necessary. Clean the print heads and adjust the print settings for higher quality. Ensure the paper type matches the settings on the printer.
From the printer settings, navigate to 'Print Options', select 'Duplex Printing', and choose your preferred duplex option, such as 'Long Edge' or 'Short Edge'.
Place the document on the scanner, access the control panel, select 'Scan', choose 'Scan to Email', enter the recipient's email address, and press 'Start' to send the scanned document.
