To install the Xerox WorkCentre 390 printer driver on Windows 10, download the latest driver from the Xerox website. Once downloaded, run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions. Make sure the printer is connected to the computer via USB or network during installation.
Check if the printer is properly connected to the power source and the computer. Ensure that there are no error messages on the printer display. Verify that the printer has enough paper and toner. Finally, try restarting both the printer and the computer.
To perform a factory reset, access the printer's menu and navigate to the 'Admin Settings'. Look for the 'Reset' or 'Restore Defaults' option and follow the prompts. Keep in mind that a factory reset will erase all customized settings.
First, turn off the printer and unplug it. Open the printer's access panels and gently remove any jammed paper. Be careful not to tear the paper. Once cleared, close the panels, plug the printer back in, and turn it on.
To connect the printer to a wireless network, access the printer's network settings via the control panel. Select 'Wireless Setup Wizard' and follow the prompts to connect to your Wi-Fi network. You may need your network's SSID and password.
Ensure that the toner cartridge is installed correctly and is not empty. Check the print settings to ensure the correct paper size and type are selected. Also, ensure that the document you're trying to print is not blank.
Place the document face down on the scanner glass or load it into the document feeder. Use the control panel to select 'Scan' and choose the destination (e.g., email, computer). Adjust settings as necessary and start the scan.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the scanner glass, checking for firmware updates, and replacing toners and consumables as needed. It's also important to keep the printer in a dust-free environment.
Download the latest firmware from the Xerox support website. Follow the provided instructions to upload and install the firmware using the printer's control panel or via the printer's web interface.
If the 'Toner Low' message appears, prepare to replace the toner cartridge soon. You can continue printing until the print quality starts to degrade, but it's advisable to have a new cartridge ready.
