To load paper, open the paper tray, adjust the guides to fit the paper size, and then load the paper with the print side facing down. Close the tray and confirm the paper settings on the touchscreen.
Ensure that the paper guides in the tray are properly adjusted to match the size of the paper. Also, check the paper settings on the printer's touchscreen to ensure they match the loaded paper.
To clear a paper jam, follow the instructions on the printer's display. Open the indicated areas, carefully remove any jammed paper, and then close the covers. Restart the printer if necessary.
Poor print quality can be improved by checking the toner levels, cleaning the print heads, and ensuring that the correct paper type and print settings are selected. Perform a print quality adjustment via the printer menu if needed.
Routinely clean the printer by using a lint-free cloth to wipe down surfaces, remove any dust from the paper trays, and clean the scanner glass with a non-abrasive cleaner. Regularly check for firmware updates.
Check that the network cables are securely connected and that the printer is within range of the network. Verify the network settings on the printer's control panel and restart the printer and network equipment.
To enable duplex printing, go to the printer settings menu, select the print preferences, and then choose two-sided (duplex) printing. Save the settings and apply them to your print jobs.
When the 'toner low' warning appears, prepare to replace the toner cartridge. Order a new cartridge and follow the instructions in the user manual to replace it. Continue printing until the toner is completely empty.
Access the printer's control panel, go to the scan settings, and configure the email server settings. Enter the recipient email addresses and adjust the scan settings as needed. Save the configuration.
Download the latest firmware from the Xerox website. Access the printer's control panel, navigate to the firmware update section, and follow the on-screen instructions to install the update.
