To turn on the Uniden UH950S Transceiver, press and hold the power button until the display lights up.
To maintain battery life, ensure the transceiver is turned off when not in use, avoid overcharging, and store the device in a cool, dry place.
To improve range, ensure the antenna is fully extended and avoid obstructions like buildings or hills. Using the device in open areas will yield better results.
If the device is not transmitting, check the battery level, ensure the antenna is properly connected, and verify that you are on the correct frequency.
To reset to factory settings, turn off the device, press and hold the channel and power buttons simultaneously until the display shows a reset confirmation.
To change channels, use the up or down arrow buttons on the side of the device until you reach the desired channel.
Software updates for the Uniden UH950S are not user-serviceable. Please contact Uniden support for any available updates and assistance.
Poor audio quality can be caused by low battery, interference from other electronic devices, or obstructions between transceivers. Ensure the battery is charged and avoid areas with heavy electronic interference.
To lock the keypad, press and hold the lock button until the lock icon appears on the display. To unlock, repeat the process.
