To change the water filter, locate the filter inside the refrigerator near the top right corner. Turn the filter counterclockwise to remove it. Insert the new filter and turn it clockwise until it locks into place. Run water through the dispenser for a few minutes to clear any air and impurities.
First, check if the refrigerator is plugged in and the thermostat is set correctly. Ensure that the vents inside are not blocked by food items. Clean the condenser coils located at the back of the refrigerator. If the problem persists, consider contacting a technician.
To reset the ice maker, locate the reset button on the ice maker unit. Press and hold the button for about 10 seconds until you hear a chime. Release the button and wait for the ice maker to reset and begin producing ice.
Water leaks can be caused by a clogged defrost drain, a damaged water filter, or a blocked water line. Check these components and clean or replace them as necessary. Ensure that the refrigerator is level to prevent water from pooling.
Open the refrigerator door and locate the temperature control panel. Use the up and down buttons to adjust the temperature settings for the fridge and freezer compartments. Allow 24 hours for the new settings to stabilize.
Unusual noises may indicate that the refrigerator is not level, or that the condenser fan or evaporator fan is obstructed. Check these components and ensure the refrigerator is on a steady, level surface. If the noise persists, contact a technician.
It is recommended to clean the condenser coils every six months to ensure optimal performance. Use a vacuum or a coil brush to remove dust and debris from the coils located at the back or bottom of the refrigerator.
If the control panel is unresponsive, try resetting the refrigerator by unplugging it for a few minutes and then plugging it back in. If the issue persists, check for any error codes displayed and refer to the user manual or contact customer support.
To activate the child lock, press and hold the child lock button on the control panel for three seconds. This will lock the panel and prevent accidental changes to the settings. Repeat the process to deactivate the lock.
To defrost the freezer, remove all items and unplug the refrigerator. Leave the freezer door open to allow the ice to melt naturally. Place towels around the base to absorb water. Once defrosted, clean the interior, plug the refrigerator back in, and restock the freezer.
