To change the water filter, locate the filter at the bottom right corner inside the refrigerator. Turn the filter counterclockwise to remove it. Insert the new filter and turn it clockwise until it locks in place. Run water through the dispenser for 5 minutes to flush the system.
First, check that the refrigerator is plugged in and the circuit breaker is not tripped. Ensure the temperature settings are correct and the vents are not blocked. If the issue persists, clean the condenser coils and check the door seals for any gaps.
To perform a factory reset, press and hold the Power Freeze and Power Cool buttons simultaneously for about 10 seconds until the display shows the reset message. This will reset all settings to default.
Use a soft cloth dampened with a mixture of mild detergent and warm water. Wipe the surface gently and dry it with a clean, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they can scratch the surface.
Use the control panel on the front of the refrigerator. Press the Fridge or Freezer button to cycle through the available temperature settings. The recommended temperature for the fridge is 37°F and for the freezer is 0°F.
Ensure the ice maker is turned on and the water line is properly connected. Check for any ice blockages in the ice compartment. If the issue persists, try resetting the ice maker by pressing the reset button located on the ice maker module.
The condenser coils should be cleaned at least twice a year. Use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment or a coil cleaning brush to remove dust and debris. This helps maintain efficiency and prolongs the life of the refrigerator.
Water pooling can be due to a blocked defrost drain. Clear the drain by flushing it with warm water using a turkey baster or a small funnel. Ensure the refrigerator is level to prevent water from collecting.
To enable the child lock, press and hold the Child Lock button on the control panel for 3 seconds. This will lock the control panel to prevent accidental changes. Repeat the process to disable the lock.
Store raw meat and poultry on the bottom shelf to prevent drips onto other foods. Place dairy products and eggs on the middle shelves and keep fruits and vegetables in the designated crisper drawers. This ensures even cooling and maintains food freshness.
