To reset the filter indicator light, press and hold the "Alarm/Filter Reset" button for 3 seconds until the light turns off.
Ensure that the fridge is plugged in and the doors are fully closed. Check the temperature settings and ensure the vents inside the fridge are not blocked. If the problem persists, consider calling a technician.
Locate the filter in the bottom right corner of the fridge, turn it counterclockwise to remove it, and then insert the new filter by turning it clockwise until it locks into place.
Check if the water line connections are secure and inspect the door seals for any damage. Also, ensure the drain hole inside the fridge is not clogged.
Press the "Power Freeze" button on the control panel. This feature speeds up the ice-making process by dropping the freezer temperature.
Unplug the refrigerator, remove all food items, and use a mixture of warm water and baking soda to wipe down the interior surfaces. Rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly before plugging back in.
Use the control panel on the front of the fridge to adjust the temperature settings. Press the "Fridge" or "Freezer" button to change the temperature to the desired level.
Check for any loose items inside the fridge, ensure the fridge is level, and verify that it is not in contact with any walls or cabinets. If the noise continues, consult a technician.
The Samsung RF23HCED is a frost-free model, so manual defrosting is not required. However, if there is ice buildup, check the door seals and ensure the doors are closing properly.
Ensure the ice maker is turned on, check the water supply line, and make sure the freezer temperature is set correctly. If the issue persists, consider resetting the ice maker or contacting support.
