To reset the temperature settings, press the 'Fridge' or 'Freezer' button on the control panel until you reach the desired temperature. The display will show the current setting, and you can adjust it accordingly.
First, check if the refrigerator is properly plugged in and the power is on. Ensure that the vents inside are not blocked by food items. You may also want to clean the condenser coils and check the temperature settings. If the issue persists, contact Samsung support.
To defrost your refrigerator, remove all food items, unplug the appliance, and leave the doors open. Allow the ice to melt naturally, or use a fan to speed up the process. Once defrosted, clean and dry the interior before plugging it back in.
To clean the interior, remove all food and detachable shelves. Use a mixture of mild detergent and water to wipe down the surfaces. Rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly before replacing the shelves and food items.
It is recommended to replace the water filter every six months or when the filter indicator light turns on, whichever comes first. Regular replacement ensures clean and fresh-tasting water.
Water pooling can be caused by a blocked defrost drain or drain pan. Check and clean the defrost drain and ensure the drain pan is properly positioned. If the issue persists, inspect the door seals for leaks.
To change the light bulb, unplug the refrigerator, remove the cover of the light bulb compartment, unscrew the old bulb, and replace it with a new one of the same type and wattage. Reattach the cover and plug the refrigerator back in.
Unusual noises may be due to the refrigerator not being leveled. Adjust the leveling legs to ensure the appliance is stable. Additionally, check for any loose items inside or near the refrigerator that may cause vibrations.
To activate the Power Cool function, press the 'Power Cool' button on the control panel. This will rapidly decrease the temperature in the fridge compartment for quick cooling of your groceries.
To save energy, keep the refrigerator away from heat sources, ensure the door seals are tight, avoid opening the doors frequently, and maintain a moderate temperature setting. Regularly clean the condenser coils to improve efficiency.
