To reset the ice maker, locate the reset button on the front of the ice maker. Press and hold the button for about 10 seconds until you hear a chime. This will restart the ice-making process.
First, check if the refrigerator is plugged in and the power is on. Ensure that the temperature settings are correct, and check for any obstructions to air vents inside the fridge. Clean the condenser coils if necessary.
Make sure the freezer door is fully closed and the seals are intact. Avoid placing hot food directly into the freezer and ensure proper air circulation by not overloading it.
Unusual noises can be caused by the refrigerator not being level. Check and adjust the leveling feet. Also, ensure that nothing inside is vibrating against the walls.
It is recommended to clean the condenser coils every 6 months to maintain efficiency. Use a vacuum cleaner or a brush to remove dust and debris.
Store raw meats on the bottom shelf to avoid contamination. Place dairy products in the colder sections and keep fruits and vegetables in the designated crisper drawers. Use the door shelves for condiments.
To change the water filter, turn off the water supply, rotate the filter counterclockwise to remove it, and insert the new filter by rotating it clockwise until secure.
Refer to the user manual for specific error codes. Common codes indicate issues like a door left open, temperature sensor faults, or ice maker malfunctions.
Using the refrigerator in an unheated garage is not recommended as extreme temperatures may affect its performance. Ensure the area is within the appliance's operating temperature range.
To defrost, remove all items and unplug the refrigerator. Leave the freezer door open and allow ice to melt naturally. Clean and dry the compartments before plugging back in.
