To extend battery life, reduce screen brightness, close unused applications, disable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi when not needed, and use the power-saving mode. Regularly calibrate the battery for optimal performance.
Ensure that the laptop's vents are not blocked and clean them regularly. Use a cooling pad to improve airflow and avoid using the laptop on soft surfaces. Check for any background processes that may be causing excessive CPU usage.
To perform a factory reset, back up your data first. Then restart the laptop and press F4 during boot to access the Samsung Recovery Solution. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the reset.
Check if the battery is charged and the power adapter is working. Try a hard reset by removing the battery and power adapter, then hold the power button for 15 seconds. Reconnect the power and try to turn it on again.
To upgrade the RAM, turn off the laptop and unplug it. Remove the battery and unscrew the RAM compartment cover. Insert the new RAM module into the slot, ensuring it is securely in place, then reassemble the laptop.
Free up disk space by removing unnecessary files and programs. Run a disk defragmentation and check for malware. Consider upgrading the RAM or switching to an SSD for better performance.
Ensure the wireless adapter is enabled. Click on the Wi-Fi icon in the system tray, select your network, and enter the password. If issues persist, update the wireless driver.
Check the display settings and update the graphics driver. If the issue continues, try connecting to an external monitor to determine if it's a hardware issue.
Turn off the laptop and unplug it. Use compressed air to blow away debris between the keys. For a thorough clean, use a damp microfiber cloth with mild soap to wipe the key surfaces.
Ensure the touchpad is not disabled in settings. Update the touchpad driver and check for any recent software changes that might have affected its functionality.
