To perform a soft reset on your Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, press and hold the Power button and the Volume Down button simultaneously for about 10 seconds until the device restarts.
First, ensure the charging cable and adapter are working by testing them with another device. Clean the charging port for any dust or debris. If the issue persists, try using a different charger or visit a service center for further assistance.
Turn off your phone. Press and hold the Volume Up, Home, and Power buttons simultaneously. Release all buttons when the Samsung logo appears. Use the Volume Down button to highlight 'Wipe Cache Partition' and the Power button to select it. Reboot the system after the process completes.
To take a screenshot, press and hold the Power and Home buttons simultaneously until you see a flash or hear a shutter sound. The screenshot will be saved in the Gallery app.
To update the software, go to Settings > About Phone > Software Updates > Check for Updates. If an update is available, follow the on-screen instructions to download and install it. Make sure your device is connected to Wi-Fi and has sufficient battery level.
Go to Settings > About Phone. Scroll down and tap on 'Build Number' seven times. You'll see a message that says 'Developer mode has been enabled.' The Developer Options menu will now appear in the main Settings menu.
Your device may overheat due to prolonged use, running high-demand applications, or exposure to direct sunlight. To prevent overheating, avoid using your phone while charging, close unused apps running in the background, and keep your device in a cool environment.
To improve battery life, reduce screen brightness, disable unused features like Bluetooth and GPS, use Wi-Fi instead of mobile data when possible, and enable battery-saving modes from the Settings menu.
To factory reset your device, go to Settings > Backup & Reset > Factory Data Reset. Confirm the action by tapping 'Reset Phone.' Be sure to back up your data before performing a factory reset as it will erase all data on the device.
First, ensure Wi-Fi is enabled and airplane mode is off. Restart your router and phone. Forget the Wi-Fi network and reconnect by entering the password again. If problems persist, reset network settings via Settings > Backup & Reset > Reset Network Settings.
