To perform a factory reset on your Samsung Galaxy Note 5, go to Settings > Backup and reset > Factory data reset. Confirm by selecting 'Reset device' and 'Delete all'. Ensure you have backed up your data before proceeding.
First, try using a different charging cable and adapter. Check the charging port for debris and clean it carefully. Restart your device and try charging again. If the problem persists, consider contacting customer support or visiting a service center.
To extend battery life, reduce screen brightness, disable unused apps, turn off Bluetooth and Wi-Fi when not in use, and enable power saving mode from Settings > Battery.
To take a screenshot, press and hold the Power and Home buttons simultaneously until you see the screen flash. The screenshot will be saved in your Gallery.
To update your software, go to Settings > About device > Software update > Download updates manually. Make sure your device is connected to Wi-Fi and has sufficient battery.
Go to Settings > About device and tap 'Build number' seven times. You will see a message that Developer Options have been enabled. They can be accessed from the main Settings menu.
Try clearing the cache by going to Settings > Storage > Cached data and tapping 'Clear cached data'. Additionally, close unused apps, restart your device, and ensure your software is up to date.
Go to Settings > Lock screen and security > Fingerprints. Follow the on-screen instructions to register your fingerprint. Once registered, you can use it to unlock your phone.
Use Samsung Cloud by going to Settings > Accounts > Samsung account > Samsung Cloud. You can also use Smart Switch to back up data to your computer.
Turn off your device. Locate the SIM card tray on the top edge of the device. Use the SIM eject tool to open the tray, place the SIM card in the tray, and carefully reinsert it.
