To clean the glass cooktop, first ensure it is cool. Use a specialized ceramic cooktop cleaner and a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive pads that can scratch the surface.
Check if the oven is correctly plugged in and that the circuit breaker is not tripped. Ensure the temperature settings are correct. If the issue persists, it might require professional servicing.
Press and hold the 'Bake' button until you see '00' on the display. Use the arrow keys to adjust the temperature in 5-degree increments, then press 'Start' to save.
Use cookware that is magnetic and has a flat bottom, such as stainless steel or cast iron. Avoid glass, aluminum, or copper cookware unless it is labeled for induction use.
Remove all racks and accessories from the oven. Select the self-clean function and choose the desired cleaning level. Ensure proper ventilation as the oven will heat up to high temperatures.
Some noise is normal due to the magnetic field in induction cooktops. However, if the noise is loud or unusual, check if the cookware is compatible or if the surface is clean.
Ensure the oven is off and cool. Open the oven door and remove the light cover by turning it counterclockwise. Replace the bulb with a new 40-watt appliance bulb and reattach the cover.
Unplug the cooker from the power outlet or switch off the circuit breaker for 5 minutes. Restore power and check if the controls are responsive.
While aluminum foil can be used to cover dishes to prevent over-browning, do not line the oven bottom with foil as it can interfere with heat distribution and damage the oven.
Press and hold the 'Lock' button for 3 seconds. This will lock the control panel and prevent accidental changes during cleaning.
