To adjust the temperature in the FlexZone compartment, press the FlexZone button on the control panel. You can choose from different preset temperature settings: Meat/Fish, Cold Drinks, Deli/Snacks, or Wine/Party Dishes.
If your refrigerator is not cooling properly, ensure that the vents inside the refrigerator are not blocked by food items. Check the door seals for any gaps or damages and make sure the doors are closing properly. Also, verify that the temperature settings are correct.
To clean the water filter, first turn off the water supply and remove the old filter by twisting it counterclockwise. Install a new filter by twisting it clockwise until it is securely in place. Flush about a gallon of water through the new filter before use.
Water pooling at the bottom of the refrigerator may be due to a blocked defrost drain. To fix this, try clearing the drain hole located at the back of the refrigerator by using a pipe cleaner or a similar tool to remove any blockages.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the condenser coils every six months, checking and replacing the water filter every six months, and examining the door seals for any damage. Also, ensure the refrigerator is level to prevent door alignment issues.
To reset the ice maker, locate the reset button on the ice maker unit itself. Press and hold the reset button until you hear a chime, indicating that the reset process has started. Release the button and wait for the ice maker to cycle.
If the control panel is not responding, try resetting the refrigerator by unplugging it for a few minutes and then plugging it back in. Ensure your hands are dry and clean when using the panel. If the issue persists, it may require professional service.
To prevent odors, regularly clean the interior with a mixture of baking soda and water. Store food in airtight containers and promptly remove expired items. You can also place an open box of baking soda inside to absorb odors.
Organize food by placing perishable items like dairy and meats on the lower shelves where it is coldest, while keeping fruits and vegetables in the crisper drawers. Avoid overloading shelves to allow proper air circulation.
Unusual noises can be caused by various factors such as the refrigerator not being level, items inside vibrating against each other, or the ice maker cycling. Ensure the refrigerator is balanced and items are secure. If noises persist, consult the manual or a technician.
