To clean the lint filter, open the dryer door and pull the lint filter upwards to remove it. Remove the lint by hand or use a vacuum cleaner. Rinse under warm water if necessary and ensure it is completely dry before reinserting it into the dryer.
If your dryer is not heating, check if the thermal fuse is blown, the heating element is faulty, or the thermostat is malfunctioning. Ensure that the dryer is connected to a power source and that the circuit breaker is not tripped.
Unusual noises may be caused by objects in the drum, worn drum rollers, or a faulty belt. Remove any foreign objects and inspect the drum rollers and belt, replacing them if necessary.
To prevent wrinkles, do not overload the dryer and promptly remove clothes after the cycle ends. Use the Wrinkle Prevent option if available, which intermittently tumbles clothes after the cycle.
Use the Delicate cycle to dry delicate fabrics. This cycle uses low heat to gently dry items. Always check garment care labels for specific drying instructions.
To use the steam function, fill the water reservoir with clean water and select a steam cycle such as Refresh or Wrinkle Away. Follow the on-screen instructions for optimal results.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the lint filter after each use, checking and cleaning the exhaust vent periodically, and ensuring the dryer drum is clean.
If the dryer won't start, ensure it is plugged in and the door is closed securely. Check the circuit breaker and ensure the Child Lock feature is not activated.
To improve drying time, avoid overloading the dryer, clean the lint filter regularly, and ensure the exhaust vent is not obstructed. Consider using higher spin speeds in the washer to remove more water from clothes before drying.
If the dryer is not tumbling, check if the drive belt is broken or slipped off the drum. Inspect the idler pulley and drum rollers for wear and replace them if necessary.
