To connect your Onkyo HT-S7700 to a Bluetooth device, ensure that your receiver's Bluetooth is turned on. Navigate to the Bluetooth settings on your device, search for 'Onkyo HT-S7700', and select it to pair.
First, check if the receiver is properly connected to the speakers and the input source is correctly selected. Ensure that the volume is turned up and mute is off. Also, verify the speaker settings in the receiver's menu.
To update the firmware, connect the receiver to the internet via Ethernet, then go to the setup menu, select ‘Firmware Update’, and follow the on-screen instructions to update.
To clean the unit, unplug it and use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior. Avoid using any liquid cleaners or spraying directly onto the unit.
To perform a factory reset, turn off the receiver, then press and hold the ‘CBL/SAT’ button while pressing the ‘ON/STANDBY’ button until ‘CLEAR’ appears on the display. Release the buttons to reset.
The Onkyo HT-S7700 does not support direct Wi-Fi connectivity. For network functions, connect via a wired Ethernet connection.
Use the AccuEQ Room Calibration feature. Connect the supplied microphone to the receiver, place it at your listening position, and follow the on-screen instructions to calibrate.
Ensure that the correct input source is selected and that all HDMI cables are securely connected. Check the settings on your source device as well.
To enhance bass output, adjust the bass level in the receiver’s audio settings and ensure the subwoofer is correctly positioned and connected.
First, replace the batteries in the remote. If it still doesn’t work, ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the receiver, and check the remote control sensor on the receiver for dirt or damage.
