Nextbase 380GW User's Manual

To install the Nextbase 380GW, first attach the mount to the windshield. Connect the dash cam to the mount and plug the power cable into the vehicle's 12V power socket. Ensure the camera lens is unobstructed and adjust the angle for optimal recording.
If the 380GW is not turning on, check that the power cable is securely connected and that the power source is functioning. Try using a different cable or power source. If the problem persists, perform a reset by holding the reset button for 5 seconds.
To update the firmware, download the latest version from the Nextbase website. Copy the update file to the root directory of a microSD card, insert the card into the dash cam, and turn it on. The firmware will automatically update.
To maintain the battery life of your Nextbase 380GW, avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures. Charge the battery regularly and avoid leaving the dash cam plugged in continuously when not in use.
To format the microSD card, go to the settings menu on the dash cam, select 'Format SD Card', and confirm. This will erase all data on the card, so ensure you back up important files first.
If the 380GW is not recording, check that the microSD card is properly inserted and not full. Ensure the card is compatible and consider formatting it. Restart the dash cam and check recording settings.
To access recorded footage, remove the microSD card from the dash cam and insert it into a computer or use the Nextbase app to download videos directly via Wi-Fi connection.
To reset the dash cam to factory settings, go to the settings menu and select 'Factory Reset'. Confirm the reset when prompted, and the device will return to its original settings.
To enable parking mode, access the settings menu and select 'Parking Mode'. Ensure the dash cam is hardwired to the vehicle battery for continuous power when the engine is off.
If GPS is not working, ensure the dash cam has a clear view of the sky and is not obstructed by metallic or electronic interference. Restart the device and check for any firmware updates.
