To install the Nextbase 320XR, attach the mount to your windscreen using the adhesive pad, then slide the dash cam onto the mount. Connect the power cable to the camera and plug it into your vehicle's 12V power outlet. Adjust the camera's angle to ensure it captures the road ahead.
Ensure that the power cable is securely connected and the vehicle's power outlet is functioning. Check if the battery is charged. If the device still does not turn on, try resetting it by pressing the reset button using a small pin or paperclip.
Download the latest firmware from the Nextbase support website. Copy the firmware file onto an empty microSD card. Insert the card into the dash cam and power it on. The device will automatically start the update process.
Check if the microSD card is properly inserted and formatted in the camera. Ensure the card has sufficient free space and is not corrupted. If the issue persists, try using a different microSD card.
Remove the microSD card from the dash cam and insert it into a card reader connected to your computer. Alternatively, connect the dash cam to the computer using a USB cable and access the files directly.
Use a microfiber cloth to gently wipe the lens. Avoid using any cleaning liquids directly on the lens. For stubborn spots, lightly dampen the cloth with water or a lens cleaning solution and wipe gently.
Ensure the dash cam's firmware is up to date for optimal performance. Adjust the exposure settings in the camera menu if needed. Clean the windshield and lens regularly to avoid glare and ensure clear footage.
Parking mode records video automatically when motion or impact is detected while the vehicle is parked. To activate, go to the settings menu, select 'Parking Mode', and turn it on. Ensure the dash cam is connected to a power source that remains active when the vehicle is off.
Check that the GPS module is properly connected. Ensure the dash cam is mounted in a location with a clear view of the sky. If the problem continues, reset the device and update the firmware.
Yes, the Nextbase 320XR can be used with a compatible rear camera module. Connect the rear camera to the main unit using the provided cable. Mount the rear camera on the rear windshield and adjust its angle. Configure the settings in the dash cam menu to enable rear camera recording.
