To change the temperature settings, press the 'Refrigerator' or 'Freezer' button on the control panel until you reach the desired temperature. Allow 24 hours for the new settings to stabilize.
Unplug the refrigerator and locate the condenser coils, usually at the back or bottom. Use a vacuum or a brush to remove dust and debris from the coils. Plug the refrigerator back in once cleaning is complete.
Ensure the ice maker is turned on and the water supply is connected. Check for any ice blockages and reset the ice maker if necessary. Refer to the user manual for additional troubleshooting steps.
Regularly clean the interior and exterior, check and replace the water filter every six months, and ensure the condenser coils are clean. Also, ensure door seals are not damaged and are sealing properly.
To use Smart Diagnosis, download the LG SmartThinQ app and follow the instructions. Alternatively, call LG customer service and follow the voice prompts to activate the feature directly from your refrigerator.
Water pooling can be caused by a blocked defrost drain. Clear any blockages in the drain by flushing it with warm water and ensure it is draining properly.
Check if the refrigerator is level and ensure it's not touching any walls or cabinets. Unusual noises can also be due to the compressor or fans. If the noise persists, contact a technician.
Unplug the refrigerator and remove the light cover. Replace the LED light with a new one of the same type and wattage. Reattach the cover and plug the refrigerator back in.
