To adjust the temperature, locate the thermostat control knob inside the refrigerator compartment. Turn the knob clockwise to decrease the temperature and counterclockwise to increase it.
First, check if the refrigerator is plugged in and the power is on. Ensure the thermostat is set to the correct temperature. Clean the condenser coils and check the door seal for any gaps.
To defrost the freezer, turn off the refrigerator and remove all food items. Leave the door open to allow the ice to melt naturally, or use a pan of warm water to speed up the process.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the condenser coils every six months, checking and cleaning the door seals, and ensuring the drip pan is emptied and cleaned.
Water pooling can be due to a blocked defrost drain. Clean the drain using a mixture of warm water and vinegar to unblock it.
Check if the refrigerator is level and ensure it’s not touching the wall or cabinets. Loud noises can also be due to a faulty fan or compressor, which may require professional repair.
Unplug the refrigerator, locate the light cover inside the compartment, twist it off, and replace the bulb with a new one of the same type and wattage.
Condenser coils should be cleaned every six months to ensure efficient cooling and energy usage.
Check for any obstructions in the door seal or items in the refrigerator that might be preventing the door from closing. Also, inspect the door gasket for wear and replace it if necessary.
Keep the refrigerator away from heat sources, ensure the door seals are tight, avoid placing hot food inside, and maintain the recommended temperature settings.
