To perform a factory reset, power off your computer completely. Then, press the Novo button (usually a small button next to the power button) to access the Novo Menu. From there, select "System Recovery" and follow the on-screen instructions to reset your device.
First, ensure that the power adapter is connected properly and the power outlet is functional. If the device still won't turn on, try a hard reset by holding down the power button for 10-15 seconds. If the problem persists, consider reaching out to Lenovo support for assistance.
To enhance performance, regularly update your operating system and drivers, uninstall unnecessary programs, and perform disk cleanups. Consider upgrading the RAM or replacing the hard drive with an SSD if applicable.
Visit the Lenovo Support website and navigate to the Drivers & Software section. Enter your device model, download the necessary drivers, and follow the installation instructions provided. Alternatively, use Lenovo Vantage to automatically update drivers.
Click on the network icon in the system tray, select your desired Wi-Fi network from the list, and click "Connect." Enter the network password if prompted, and confirm the connection.
Start by cleaning the screen to remove any dirt or debris. Restart the computer to see if that resolves the issue. If not, check for driver updates or perform a system restore to a point where the touch function was working.
To extend battery life, reduce screen brightness, close unnecessary applications, disable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi when not needed, and use the power-saving mode available in Lenovo Vantage.
Regularly clean the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Use compressed air to remove dust from the keyboard and cooling vents. Avoid using liquid cleaners and ensure the device is turned off and unplugged during cleaning.
Connect the second monitor to the appropriate port (HDMI, DisplayPort, etc.) on your computer. Press Windows + P and select the desired display mode (e.g., Extend, Duplicate). Adjust display settings in the Control Panel if necessary.
Common webcam issues include poor image quality and connection errors. Ensure the webcam is not obstructed, check for updates to the webcam driver, and verify that privacy settings allow access to the camera.
