To extend battery life, reduce screen brightness, close unnecessary applications, use power-saving modes, and disable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi when not in use. Regularly updating your system can also improve efficiency.
First, ensure the laptop is charged. Try a hard reset by holding the power button for 10 seconds. If it still doesn't turn on, check the power adapter and cable or consult Lenovo support.
Use an HDMI or USB-C cable to connect the laptop to the monitor. Go to Display Settings to configure the external display as an extended or duplicated screen.
Turn off the laptop and use compressed air to remove debris. Wipe the keys with a lightly damp microfiber cloth and isopropyl alcohol. Avoid liquid cleaners directly on the keyboard.
Use the Lenovo Vantage app to automatically detect and install the latest drivers. You can also visit the Lenovo Support website to download them manually.
Ensure the laptop vents are not blocked and use it on a hard surface. Update the BIOS and drivers. Consider using a cooling pad and check for excessive background processes.
Enable BIOS and hard drive passwords, use fingerprint or facial recognition for login, and ensure your system has up-to-date antivirus software.
Go to Settings > Update & Security > Recovery. Select 'Reset this PC' and follow the on-screen instructions. Backup your data before proceeding.
Restart your router and laptop, ensure Wi-Fi is enabled, and check for driver updates. Use the Windows Network Troubleshooter to identify and fix issues.
Uninstall unnecessary programs, disable startup items, increase RAM if possible, and regularly clean temporary files. Keep the system and drivers updated for optimal performance.
