First, power off the system and unplug all cables. Open the back cover by removing the screws. Locate the RAM slots and carefully insert the new RAM module. Reattach the cover and reconnect the cables. Power on the system to ensure the RAM is recognized.
Turn off the computer and use a microfiber cloth slightly dampened with water or a screen cleaner. Gently wipe the screen in a circular motion to avoid streaks. Avoid using paper towels or rough fabrics that might scratch the screen.
Connect the second monitor using the available VGA or DisplayPort on the back of the M73z. Once connected, go to Display Settings on your computer to configure the display arrangement and resolution.
Visit the Lenovo Support website and download the latest BIOS update for the ThinkCentre M73z. Run the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the BIOS update. Ensure the computer is plugged into a power source during this process.
First, check the volume settings and ensure the audio output device is set correctly. Update the audio drivers via Device Manager. If problems persist, run the Windows Audio Troubleshooter for further diagnosis.
Ensure the vents are not blocked and clean any dust using compressed air. Check that all internal fans are functioning correctly. Consider using a cooling pad or elevating the computer to improve air circulation.
Restart your computer and enter the BIOS setup by pressing F1 during startup. Navigate to the Security or Advanced tab and enable Intel Virtualization Technology. Save changes and exit the BIOS.
Check for background applications that may be consuming resources and close them if necessary. Run a disk cleanup and defragment the hard drive. Consider upgrading the RAM or switching to an SSD for improved performance.
