To enable the e-ink display, first ensure your laptop is powered on. Then, press the dedicated e-ink button located on the side of the device. If it doesn't respond, check the e-ink settings in the Lenovo Vantage app.
If the touch screen is unresponsive, perform a restart. If the problem persists, update the touch screen driver through Device Manager or check for system updates via Lenovo Vantage.
To extend battery life, lower the screen brightness, close unnecessary apps, and enable battery saver mode through Windows settings. Regularly update your system to ensure optimal power management.
Your laptop may be running slow due to multiple startup programs. Disable unwanted startup apps via Task Manager, clean up your disk using the Disk Cleanup tool, and ensure your system is not overheating.
Unfortunately, the RAM on the ThinkBook Plus Gen 2 is soldered onto the motherboard and cannot be upgraded. Consider optimizing your current memory usage instead.
Connect the external monitor using an HDMI or USB-C to HDMI adapter. Ensure the display settings are configured correctly in Windows Display Settings to extend or duplicate the screen.
To clean the e-ink display, use a microfiber cloth slightly dampened with water. Gently wipe the screen to remove fingerprints and dust. Avoid using harsh chemicals.
Check if the power cable and adapter are securely connected. Test with a different power outlet. If the issue persists, inspect the charger for damage or try using a different charger.
To reset the laptop to factory settings, go to Settings > Update & Security > Recovery. Under "Reset this PC," choose "Get started" and follow the on-screen instructions.
To update the BIOS, open the Lenovo Vantage app and check for updates. If a BIOS update is available, follow the prompts to download and install it. Ensure your laptop is plugged in during the update process.
